ALLLLLLLLL RIGHT WELLINGTON

All the lads, Leigh, Donna, Ross and Ko, shot out to the AKl airport around 7.30 sat morning, jumped on our flight at 9.00 to Wellington, arrived at 10.00, went straight to the hotel, dumped our bags and hung out in Cuba St Wellington city, hit the pub at 11.30 an crawled out around 3.30-4.00, shot back to the hotel, and had to sober up some so we could play the set. it was a cool day, our gear arrived courtesy of Chris and Leanne driving all the way down (thanks guys), unloaded that, chilled out for a bit, ate
and hit the venue to get the gear in and sound check. Hit the stage around 11.30, Hard and loud just the way we like it, I played like a pork chop ( I will be trying out for "Strange Fruit" next week I guess), Dev played well, Sean sung wicked, Dave done his thing and Grant enjoyed himself apart from kicking his lead out from his "Bad Tamarin" and then around 15 mins later Sean had a turn, It was a small stage and Fucking hard not to stand on each other when raging hard, a fucking web of Guitar and mic leads my 25 foot stage lead had turned into a 5 ft lead by the end of the show, but all had an enjoyable gig. Got drunk again and watched the other bands. Small venue but good PA and sound man, All were pleased with the gig, and had a good time,
I crashed around 3.00am, the others rocked back around 4.30. We were all up around 7-7.30 as had to load the gear into Chris and Leanne's camper and they hit the long road back to AKL. They got Fucked up not to far out of Wellington when a bad accident blocked the main Highway and they where detoured, that slowed them down and then ran out of diesel (fuck) a trip back they would rather forget I guess, and finally home around 10-10.30 I think. The rest of the band and entourage caught the plane at 10.15 back the AKL we were fucked, (it was a late night and plenty Heineken,) all round great weekend!!!!!
