From talking to people i noticed "The crowd" were interested in all the bands.
BUT!!! and it's a BIG BUT,
80percent of them (who were probably drinking in the carpark to avoid bar costs) didn't come into the Pub until at least over halfway though the Second Band.
Many people did not even show up at the venue until then or later.
SO THEY MISSED JEALOUS ITCH ALTOGETHER.
CONCLUSION: You cannot have a 50percent audience vote without the actual audience BEING THERE the whole time Duh!
Bad planning by organisers eh!
A bunch of young guys outside asked us what "Jealous Itch" were like and were pissed off to have missed them when told the style of Music J.I. played.
Their fault for being late i guess.
But that says it all.
Oh well, least we didn't break anything (apart from some other bands ego's ha-ha)

We would have loved to have been there, will try to get a trip in next yar somewhere, planning for a big one with the kids in 2011.

So how did you guys go? The Battle Of The Bands website is sueless! Hasn't been updated!
Not enough crowd support, the guys were first on and we only had like 5 supporters there which sucked but that's what you get when everyone has kids and stuff (not being 18 year olds anymore, lol). One of the judges had a word with Antz to express his appreciation of the set which was cool. They didn't enter thinking they would win, just a bit of live rehearsal time and exposure was the aim which they accomplished. It would have been nice to go a bit further but hey, thems the breaks! Looking forward to Saturday night at the Dogs Bollix, hopefully all the babysitters have been booked!
Good luck again tonight guys, once again rock on, I'm sure you'll do good!!!

How does this work, how many bands were there, who were they and where do you go from here? Oh, and what's at the end?

Yeah, had a look, doesn't really tell you a lot. There's a lot of bands in there though and a good prize at the end, good luck guys.
Im sure crackin' the semi's won't be an issue for most of you!
